About Us
Anne
Anne began her classical vocal training at the age of 13, then quickly launched into a singing career by the age of 15. Throughout Anne's schooling in Ohio, she became known as a special events vocalist in the state, recorded three solo CDs, and traveled with various choral groups.
After winning a music scholarship, completing her degree, and teaching private music lessons for 5 years, she pursued theater and was cast in many roles from Ohio, to Kansas City, and more recently the Bradenton/Sarasota area. There she enjoyed playing , "Sandra Bloom" in Big Fish The Musical at Sarasota Players with her then fiancé Matthew Martin.
For three years she taught music in the public schools and appeared in various performances in the area, but in early 2017 she decided to return to full time performing along side of managing an entertainment company, "Brave N Beautiful". Her company provided children's character parties and singing telegrams in the region. During the 2017/2018 season Anne was also a choir member of the professional Choral Artists of Sarasota. Throughout the pandemic she taught hundreds of voice lessons online and became a successful music teacher to students around the world through a global platform, Outschool, where she still teachers voice students currently.
In 2021 she also had the opportunity to sing as a Cast-member in Disney's Candlelight as a Soprano, and then returned to teach teaching elementary music, and voice lessons, in various school throughout in Orange County FLorida.
Since 2021 Anne has also voiced several character voices for over 20 children's audiobooks through worldbook.com
Currently in 2025 she is pursuing her Master's in Speech Pathology through Emerson College, and and teaching voice lessons online. For more information about voice lessons with Anne see the Voice Lessons sections.
Matthew-Tristan
Matthew Tristan traveled extensively between England and the US as a child and appeared in many school and regional theater and music productions. He studied both at The London Academy of Music and Drama, and also took private acting lessons at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He then became passionate about film and writing in high-school, started his own web-series based out of his school, and later brought his passion for story-telling to Florida as a student at Ringling College. Once in the Sarasota area, he quickly became a theater favorite appearing in multiple lead roles. His versatility ranges from playing Neville in the Mystery of Edwin Drood, to Sir Galahad in Spamalot, to Phillipe in Phantom, to Will Bloom in Big Fish. He also landed his first commercial role in the fall of 2017 playing James Bond's sidekick "Q" for three Hascall Denke advertisements.
In 2021 he started a new non entertainment role at Disney, but has sung in the Candlelight Cast Choir 4 years in a role as a Tenor.
He has also spent the last several years recording voice overs for several companies, including Worldbook where he has voiced multiple characters for over 30 children's audio books.
The Martin Duo
In 2016 Anne and Matthew -Tristan met through the show, "Phantom" at Manatee Players. Then in the fall of 2017 they publicly came together as a dynamic duo now known as, "The Martin Duo", and have sung for hundreds of events since.
In June of 2018 they tied the knot and pledged to stay together forever in marriage and music.
Since that time we've had the privileged to sing for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2018 & 2019, provide frequent entertainment in the region for clubhouses & over 20 retirement communities, specialize in romantic duets for weddings and anniversaries, deliver singing telegrams, and also have done voice over acting as a team for several audio books. They both also sang in Disney's Cast Choir for the 2021 Candlelight Processional at Epcot together, and have recording a few vocal projects for various clients.
